Harper Guitars and the Gamma Delta Chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia are proud to announce that the kickoff to Harper 2015 will be at the brand new Tap 216 restaurant and tap house.
Tap 216 is located in a building at Fifteenth and Olive that has been home to many businesses over the years, but Tap 216 and her owners have laid the ground work to stand apart. The building has been beautifully renovated and is designed with the idea of being a great place to eat and a great place for live music.
On September 12th, Harper Fest will get going in style with 4 bands playing on stage at Tap 216 with UNLEASHED!! from Louisville, KY headlining. UNLEASHED!!, featuring Hunter Borowick on guitar and vocals, makes their second appearance at Harper Fest brings an energetic road show to Murray that has been gaining attention in Louisville and set Harper Fest 2014 off on the right foot. Hunter’s dynamic voice and artistry on guitar along with Ross “Meatloaf” Epstein on bass, UNLEASHED!! is a must see.
Tap 216 Stage will also feature Andre and the Giants with guitar phenom, Andre Reilly (age 12), at the helm. Hailing from Chicago, Andre just finished as a finalist in the Wilson Center for the Arts Guitarist Competition which was an all ages contest. This kid is the real deal and must be seen live to get the full effect of what he brings to the instrument. Andre played Harper Fest 2014 as a solo artist, but this time he is back and is bringing a band of seasoned pros to help him bring the house down!
Joining Andre and Hunter on the Tap 216 Stage will be Sam Feinstein who just recently spent time playing with rock legends Steve Vai and Eric Johnson and The Positives, a high energy rock band from Paducah, KY.
